The update to the physics will be pretty drastic. What we are doing is trying to bring out more of the real protocols within the range of performance characteristics of the car based off of new information we have recieved this season.

Mainly...with the new suspensions that was built by our good friends over at JGR, we will be bringing into the mix a very important protocol in a coilbound car....which is dynamic camber. This will force people to run lower right front camber as we do in life...probably around -0.5 or lower. Maybe a tick higer at certain tracks but with the new front end geometry in these cars it is more about dynamic camber than the way camber was looked at in the older front ends.

Also with this suspension change comes something we have been wanting to bring into the sim since development, which is the need for more positive cross weight in the car. Typically it should be over 53% cross...we normally are around 54% in life. This positive cross stabilizes the weight of the car as well as forces more realistic setups if you want to bring out the cornering speeds.

Aero tweaks will be made to compensate for some of these changes as well as to correctly emulate the amount of warp run in the front ends and the aerodynamic reaction to this warp.

Suspension travel will also be adjusted as well as the byproducts of these changes.

In the end our goal is to create physics that will coincide with what data we are recieving in life...and provide more than just a driving sim...but to provide setup protocols that are effective for the teams we work with that use ASR as a means to test setup tweaks and such.

I am gonna work with the guys RCR on the rear end locking mechanism as well...to see if we can do better on those physics as well.

As stated in the beginning...ASR will always be updated and reworked as technology will always be advancing and we will follow it.

We are very proud of those that have stood by us and are patient in knowing that we are working to fix problems and always escalate the level of realism in ASR. The most effective way to do this is with you all as our testers as this community is very vocal about what they find...wether it is something they shouldnt be concerned about or if it something they should.
